Illustration
[ Commission work, Original paintings ]
Including original paintings, book illustrations, game artwork and commissions, this broad category addresses my illustrative skills and painterly style.
This style of artwork has served others in many different ways over the years, including as book covers, gifts, home décor, game assets & more.
Working off of as much (or as little) information given in a brief, an idea becomes reality through several iterative phases and drafts.
Character Design
[ Character sheets, Concept work ]

Concepts created for commissions, games, comics, animations, etc. Work can range from initial ideation all the way to a finished sheet.
Typically work begins by accepting initial information from a client (or team), then compiling it into a mood board. With this as a guide, the project transitions into the drafting phase. Communication with the client(s) at this early stage in the process is crucial to ensuring desired results.
Integrating feedback at all stages of design, the character begins to take shape and is further refined before being finalized into a comprehensive sheet.
2D Game Art
[ Illustrations, Environments, UI, etc. ]
In my time working as the core artist for Targon Studios, I have fabricated countless 2D assets. My main contributions lie in the creation of educational games in conjunction with Legends of Learning, which were contracted for use in curriculum K-12.
Following their debut, these games have been used to educate more than 40,000 children on a wide variety of topics; from how to forecast weather to the cells within the human body.
